PARASAILING · THE WORLD FROM ABOVE
Up on a line, the whole coast under your feet.
Reviews of the best parasailing flights on earth, beach by beach. The Dubai skyline and the Red Sea reefs, the Cancun lagoon and the Algarve cliffs, Boracay sunsets and the Costa del Sol. We sort through the operators so you book the right flight.
Worth the airfare
Three flights you can take nowhere else.
You can parasail off almost any beach now. But a skyline like Dubai’s under your feet, reefs you can pick out through Red Sea water, and the lagoon-blue off Cancun belong to these places and nowhere else on earth.
Dubai
Over the Palm and the Burj Al Arab
Nowhere else do you fly a canopy over a skyline like this. The boat runs out off Jumeirah Beach, the winch lets you up, and the whole city unfolds beneath your feet: the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, the fronds of the Palm laid out like a map, the towers of Marina shimmering in the heat. Most flights throw in photos and a soft splash-down. It is the most photographed parasail on earth for a reason.

The Red Sea
Flying over the Red Sea reefs
Egypt’s Red Sea water is so clear that from a few hundred feet up you can trace the dark shapes of the coral reefs and the pale sandbars through it. You lift off from a speedboat with the desert mountains on one side and that astonishing blue on the other, often as a tandem or triple, and come down with the whole Hurghada coast laid out behind you. There is more parasailing here than anywhere on the site.

The Mexican Caribbean
High over the Cancun lagoon
The strip of hotels on one side, the open Caribbean on the other, and between them water that turns from jade to turquoise to deep blue as you climb. Cancun flights go up high and long over the Nichupte lagoon and the reef, double or triple under the canopy, with El Meco and Isla Mujeres on the horizon. A short boat ride, a long view, and the warm sea waiting if you want the dip.

The flight everyone books
If you only go up once.
More travellers reach for this one than any other on the site. An easy, safe first flight on a coast you are still getting to know.
The classics
The World’s Most Popular Parasailing Flights
Dubai, the Algarve, Cancun, the Red Sea, Mallorca. The flights travellers reach for first, on the beaches they most want under their feet.
Where to fly
Pick your stretch of coast.
The Red Sea for reefs you can see from the air. The Spanish coast for the Costa del Sol and the islands. Mexico for Caribbean blue, the U.S. for the Gulf and Hawaii, the Algarve for golden cliffs, the Philippines for Boracay sunsets. Each coast, with the flights it does best.
Who is flying
Solo, paired up, or the whole family.
The view is the same; the company is not. Three ways to go up, depending on who you are bringing and how you want to remember it.
The Algarve
Golden cliffs, seen from above.
Southern Portugal has the most photogenic coast in Europe for a flight: ochre cliffs dropping into clear green water, sea caves and arches you can pick out from the air, golden coves strung along the shore from Albufeira to Lagos. The boat runs out past the rock stacks, the line plays out, and the whole Algarve unrolls beneath you in the kind of light that put this coast on a million postcards.

Where Europe goes to fly.
From the Costa del Sol beaches of Fuengirola and Benalmadena to Benidorm, Barcelona and the islands off Mallorca, Ibiza and the Canaries, no country on the site has more flights than Spain. Warm water, long summers and a beach-resort culture built for it: a tandem off the back of the boat, the whitewashed coast and the Mediterranean spread out below, then a soft splash-down to finish.

The line goes quiet at the top.
The engine fades, the chatter on the boat drops away, and for a few minutes it is just the creak of the harness and the whole coast laid out below: the reef lines, the hotels gone toy-sized, the curve of the beach you walked that morning. No skill, no nerve, no second thoughts. Just the easiest way there is to see a place from the air, and the part everyone goes quiet remembering.

Where the water does the showing off.
Some coasts you fly for the cliffs; here you fly for the colour. Over Cancun and Cabo, Aruba, Punta Cana and the Dominican coast, the sea runs through every blue there is, shallow jade over the sandbars deepening to ink past the reef. Cabo throws in El Arco and the desert cliffs, Aruba the calmest water on the site. Warm, bright, and made for a first flight.

How high, how long
How big a flight do you want?
Some flights are a gentle float to break you in. Some are the classic few-hundred-feet ride everyone pictures. And some go as high and long as the wind allows, saved for the sunset. Pick the flight, we will point you at the beach.
Easy and gentle
Float up for the first time.A calm tandem lift straight off the back of the boat, feet skimming the water on the way up, no experience needed. You are barely aware of the moment you leave the deck, and suddenly the whole coast is under you.
The classic flight
The one everyone pictures.Up a few hundred feet on a long line, the beach shrinking, the water turning every shade of blue beneath you. Solo, double or triple under one canopy, with a dip in the sea at the end if you ask the crew nicely.
High and golden
Stay up for the sunset. The highest, longest flights, timed for the gold hour: the islands lit up below, the canopy glowing, the kind of fifteen minutes you remember long after the tan has faded. The unforgettable end to a beach day.
A skyline under your feet
Dubai is the one flight people fly for.
No other parasail puts a city like this beneath you. The boat heads out off Jumeirah or the Marina, the line lets you up, and there they are: the sail of the Burj Al Arab, the fronds of the Palm, the towers stacked along the shore, all of it shrinking as you climb. Most flights bundle in photos and video, and bring you down with a soft dip in the warm Gulf. The bucket-list flight of the Middle East.
